Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

Psychodynamic psychotherapy focuses on exploring the deeper, often unconscious, layers of the mind. Image, metaphor, and dreams are ways we can explore the psyche and uncover how our thoughts, feelings, and relationships are shaped. In therapy, we work together to bring these hidden elements to light, noticing how they influence your current life, relationships, and emotional patterns. By diving beneath the surface, we chart a path to greater self-awareness and lasting emotional growth, helping you develop healthier, more fulfilling relationships with yourself and others.

Emotionally Focused Therapy

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) offers a way of working with couples that brings attention to the emotional patterns playing out beneath the surface of conflict. Rather than focusing only on communication skills or behavioral change, EFT helps partners tune into the vulnerability, unmet needs, and protective strategies that shape their dynamic. Together, we trace the cycles that have taken hold—often rooted in earlier attachment experiences—and begin to soften the reactive stances that keep you at odds.

By slowing down and making space for what’s often left unsaid, EFT creates the conditions for more honest connection. In this process, couples often begin to recognize not only how they push each other away, but how deeply they long to feel close, safe, and understood. The work becomes less about fixing each other and more about finding one another again.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a neurobiological therapeutic technique designed to access,  process, and release deeply stored trauma and emotional distress. The technique engages the body’s autonomic and limbic systems to stimulate healing, targeting both the brain and the body’s physiological and emotional responses to trauma. By maintaining the client’s eye position on a brainspot while they focus on the physical or emotional sensation linked to the trauma, the brain and nervous system are activated to process and decondition maladaptive patterns of emotional and physical responses. Brainspotting is also used to strengthen internal resources and help individuals build resilience, addressing trauma at its core and enabling clients to move between trauma processing and more positive states of mind, facilitating emotional and physical well-being.
